    My first love - the GMT-Master 16750

I bought my first nice watch, this GMT-Master 16750, in 2006. To this day it's the only watch I've REALLY regretted selling. I paid $2,800 for it - an absolute steal at today's prices. It had a fresh RSC service (with service papers) and the dial, hands, and bezel insert had been replaced, so it was "less desirable", but to me it was perfect. It also came with the original Pepsi insert. Since that time I've bought and flipped many sport models, but it gets me every time I stumble across a picture of this one.

All is right in the world with this K-serial 16710. Brings me right back to the beginning of my obsession with watches, primarily Rolex at the time. I considered another 16750 model, but this 16710 really is the best of both worlds for me with the 3135 movement, SELs, and "newer" clasp. Plus those lug holes! There's just something about the Pepsi bezel and that black dial - it speaks to me like no other. I'm a happy (and nostalgic) camper!
