I bought my first nice watch, this GMT-Master 16750, in 2006. To this day it's the only watch I've REALLY regretted selling. I paid $2,800 for it - an absolute steal at today's prices. It had a fresh RSC service and the dial, hands, and bezel insert had been replaced, so it was "less desirable", but to me it was perfect. Since that time I bought and flipped many sport models, but it gets me every time I stumble across a picture of this one
